DAG WEIBEL

Driven by a broad musical curiosity, Dag Weibel is a guitarist, producer and DJ based in Stockholm. With a background in jazz, having studied at the renowned Manhattan School of Music in New York City, followed by graduation from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 2024, he has earned recognition for his versatile musicianship and deep commitment to his craft.In February 2026, he recorded his first studio album with his band RARA AVIS at the legendary Atlantis Studios in Stockholm. The project captures his ongoing quest for a sound that unites his many musical influences into one. The music is written by Dag Weibel and lead singer Jacob Stribrny, whose different musical paths come together in a sound best described as indie soul/pop, reminiscent of artists such as Dina Ögon, strongboi, Khruangbin, and Thee Sacred Souls. The album is set for release in the summer of 2026.Beyond his work as a guitarist and songwriter, his passion for discovering and curating music finds another outlet behind the decks, where his deep understanding of music and feel for the dancefloor have made him a highly sought-after DJ.As the in-house DJ at Courtyard by Marriott, he brings a global perspective to his sets, weaving together classic soul, disco and funk with latin rhythms, roots reggae and world music — bringing the vibe of a New York City block-party to Kungsholmen every thursday and saturday.He is also the saturday night resident DJ at Guldbaren, located inside five star Nobis Hotel, where he goes by his electronic music alias Clemens Costa, playing groovy minimal house. He also runs the music collective and record label, The Bag Label, which acts as a home for his own releases, as well as other up-and-coming talent on the local scene.
